Warm n cozy at Truro

Flowers still blooming along the road.
Rode about 70km. Dinner with Mike n MaryEllen.

Wet day to Pictou

Rode about 70km to the Wood Islands Ferry n got a room in Pictou. Worst weather day that I rode in since the beginning for wet n wind. I have been very lucky. Phone camera wouldn't operate with wet gloved fingers so photos of/from the ferry.

Charlottetown(Cornwall)

We rode from the cottage (photo of the plaque on it's wall) where we stayed to the bridge and waited a while for the truck to haul our bikes n gear across the bridge. Then had lunch and a very damp (hvy drizzle) ride for a couple of hours followed by a couple of hours with no drizzle and some hills to create body heat from peddling!! Lotta spuds n red soil.

The Ferry is gone

The Confederation Bridge in the distance! Two swans in Sackville(home of Mt Allison Unversity).
The sun, which I had not seen for several days.
Low tide on a creek/river.
Got to Cape Tormentine campground and met up with Bruce(we met at cubs around 1960). This is where the ferry used to go from over to PEI. Rode about 115/120km and onto one gravel country road(High Marsh Road) that surprised me by having a covered bridge on it - photo too. No flat tires - stayed off the Trans Cda Hwy where steel belt tire from transport trucks abound.
